I walked into the karate studio, nervous for the upcoming belt test. As I put on my blue belt and waited in the testing line, I thought to myself, “so, what lies ahead of me when I get my brown belt?” Finally, the test began. I was asked to do a variety of kicks, punches, blocks, and exercises for the test. In the end, I earned my brown belt with a big smile on my face. (Tania)
